Hi there,
I was halfway through the firmware update and ready to start uploading part 2 when Uplink 2.3 told me there was a problem.
I could not restart the upload for the second part and the 2B disconnected. Now when i turn on the 2B it gives me this:
Anything i can do to "reset"or "force" to do the update again??
The 2B still shows the B in bootloader, and also gets recognised in commander 4B2 (only after a few seconds says there is something wrong)
There is no more connection with uplink and the com ports are fine.
Cheers.

Yup, just switch into the bootloader again and then attempt the upload again. start with part 1, then continue with part 2. As long as you get the B you should be ok.

Yep! it worked, i was clumsy enough to put the USB cable in another port after the first failure and with that also the com port changed.
Seeing what i done i corrected it and the 2B works better than ever Thanks!

I seem to remember having to press disconnect then reconnect again between downloading the two parts

I'll check the instructions, but that sounds about right

Mine disconnected of its own accord after installing the first part. I then had to press Connect to restore the connection and install the second part (which was much faster than the first). At that point the box disconnected and reset itself. I then performed a factory reset and power cycle as per the instructions.samcdestim wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 11:39 am I seem to remember having to press disconnect then reconnect again between downloading the two parts
